In Defence of Youth Work Campaign
This campaign has just held its first national conference in Manchester. Hundreds of youth workers from throughout the country attended in a defiant mood to protect youth work against the current linked problems of integrated youth services, commissioning out, cuts, attacks on terms and conditions, new managerialism, victimisations, and the move away from youth work values and approaches.
